CalendarThere are a number of long-distance, multi-day walks in the north of England and a specific page is dedicated to these routes (see link above). Where details are not currently available on Walking In Northern England, you will be redirected to the relevant information page.


Tent There are some wild camps on the website, but you are encouraged to undertake these ONLY with the utmost consideration for the environment and follow the principles of Leave No Trace.


IconsThe walks are graded as easy, moderate or challenging depending upon a combination of factors such as terrain, distance and total ascent/descent. Ability, experience, group size and ages should be bourne in mind when selecting your walk, using these categories for guidance.
